New Volunteer Onboarding

The following onboarding steps need to be completed before going to your site and meeting with students:

📋 Fingerprints

If you are a Boys & Girls Club volunteer, you do not need to have fingerprints done.
For all public school volunteers (Boston, Chelsea and Framingham) you will need to have your fingerprints run through Identogo.
In order to schedule a fingerprint appointment, please follow these instructions: Literations Fingerprinting Instructions - FY27.
If you need any assistance with scheduling the fingerprinting appointment, please sign up for Background Check Assistance.

If you are volunteering at a Boston Public School, you will need to complete the BPS CORI Form.
Winship Volunteers: please select the Winship school for your volunteer location. You will need to go to the Winship school at least a week before meeting with students to share your ID with the Winship School office in order for them to run your CORI.
For all other BPS Volunteers, you will need to select “Partner - Literations” for your volunteer location in order for us to process the form:

After you have submitted your DocuSign paperwork, you will need to please stop by the FPS HR office at 19 Flagg Dr, Framingham, Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, to confirm your ID. Your ID needs to be confirmed before the CORI can be cleared.

Submit BGCB References - After you have submitted your DocuSign paperwork, you will receive an email to your personal email address from Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston Recruiting <donotreply@reference.skillsurvey.com with the subject line "Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston Reference Checking Process". Please follow the prompts there to submit your references with the Boys & Girls Club.
